Dependencies allow you to connect tasks together. By documenting dependencies within TrueNxus you'll be able to ensure transparency and accountability across stakeholders. Dependencies can be viewed and/or edited in multiple sections.
Within List, you can identify if a task or sub-task has a dependency if it has the dependency icon. To view the specific dependencies, click the task name, and open the Task Details drawer.
Task Details drawer
Within the Task Details drawer, you can view dependencies by going to the dependency section.
You can add dependencies directly in task details. To do this, within the Dependencies section, click the "+" icon. Then, type and search for the task name. Then select the task you want to make a dependency.
You can delete dependencies directly in task details. To do this, within the Dependencies section, hover of the dependency you want to delete. Click the 3-dot that appears and click "Delete". Then, confirm the deletion by clicking the button, "Delete".
Within Timeline, the curved lines connecting tasks represent dependencies.
You can create dependencies directly in the timeline. To do this, simply hover over a task and click the connector on either end of the task. Then, hold and drag it to another task. Upon releasing over another task the dependency is created.
If you need to delete a task dependency, simply click the dependency line and click 'Delete' on your keyboard.
Within My Work, you can identify task dependencies if one or more tasks have a line connecting them together.
