Welcome to TrueNxus!
We're so glad you are here! We look forward to helping you get the most out of TrueNxus. Here is a quick rundown of the most important things to know while you get started.
How TrueNxus is structured
TrueNxus's structure has three levels:
- Organization: where all colleagues can collaborate in a single space. An organization is established by the domain associated with your email address. For example, if your email address is @company.com, all individuals with the same domain email address (@company.com), will have access to the organization.
- Note: If you sign up and create an organization with your personal email address, one that is managed by a free email provider (i.e., gmail.com, yahoo.com), a personal workspace will be created instead. Unlike organizations, personal workspaces are only shared with the people you invite.
- Projects: are temporary endeavors undertaken to create unique products, services, or results. Every project represents a body of work or a set of tasks that are planned and executed in a defined period of time.
- Tasks: are pieces of work, common activities or deliverables. Each task has an assignee or set of assignees that own the execution of the task.
Step 1: Create a project
From the sidebar, click the + button.
You'll be prompted with a form. Fill in the below required fields. Then, click the button, "Add +".
- Project Name: Enter the name of your project.

- Owner: enter the owner(s). Your name will be pre-populated. While you can add others, we strongly advise you to keep your name as an owner, or you will lose Project Owner permissions. See project permissions for more information.
